Meet Ms. Raymond
I grew up in Rumford, Maine, located in the good ol’ River Valley. My parents owned and operated their own business, which led my brother and I to have an interesting upbringing surrounded by the ins and outs of business. Through my younger years I always claimed that I would one day be a teacher, something the majority of my friends and family could easily see in me. Having parents that worked from the home, I was able to stay in one spot and focus on my studies instead of being shuffled from place to place, like many of my friends. I never realized how great of an experience that was until recently.
I purchased a house with my husband in 2008. We are currently working on fixing the place up in the hopes of getting the outside full swing into things next year! Not only are we planning on having at least two raised-bed gardens, but also bramble patches, an apple tree to harvest fruit from, a compost bin, and maybe a mini greenhouse for herb growing. Eventually we’re hoping to add chickens to our already well-sized animal family. Currently, we are expecting the arrival of our first child and are looking forward to such a pleasing change in our lives!
While I could go on and on about my favorite this-and-thats, I think I’ll just pick a few things out to share with you. If there’s anything else you’d like to know about me, simply ask!
